Freestanding fireplaces – Morsø 6643

Morsø created the 6643 freestanding fireplace from the concept of wanting something more than just a functional heating appliance. The company wanted to challenge interpretation of style and function, and to set new standards to captivate the viewer with surprising elegance.

The convection stove's artistic expression sets it apart from the crowd. Its combination of cast iron, glass and elliptical shape is complemented by a unique double door, maximizing the glass area and providing a 180° view of the flames. This is further enhanced by gold-tinted vermiculite bricks.

Behind the glass, Morsø has improved the air supply and insulation chamber and developed a combustion technology that uses preheated air to ensure a higher temperature in the firebox. As a result, almost all the gases are burnt, which results in both more environmentally friendly combustion and better fuel economy.

Dimensions 1,016 mm × 500 mm × 380 mm

Heat output 64% (average)

Flue spigot 150 mm

Weight 123 kg

  • Discreet hidden door handles blend in with the design of the stove
  • Rugged ash pan for convenient disposal
  • Optional outside air kit
  • High-density thermal lining that helps insulate the firebox to protect the body from the heat produced by the fire and provide additional heat retention.
