The construction industry continues to push the boundaries of design, requiring larger window/door panels in high wind areas. At Lidco we pride ourselves on being able to deliver a solution for any glazing requirement and thus have developed a 250mm face glazed shopfront system.

Lidco’s aluminium 725 system consists of flush glazed extrusions designed to meet current architectural trends and performance requirements. The system is ideally suited for shopping centres, offices, show rooms and commercial buildings and feature made walls spanning more than one floor. It is increasingly popular with high end residential homes and apartments.

The 725 system is engineered to be manufactured in various framing combinations including fixed shopfront assemblies, low rise window walls, entrances doors, automatic doors, continuous glazed walls and operable sashes.

Framing options include hinged, pivot and sliding doors combinations, as well a variety of awning/casement, double hung and sliding sash options are available.

Where the previous offering of the 150mm system sometimes required reinforcement within the vertical sections and/or a reduction in the size of the panels, the 250mm system will support designers with their intent. This permits both larger panels and the ability to stand up to extreme weather circumstances where maximum strength is required.
