Melbourne-based Diversified Exhibitions opens the doors of its Sydney office today and announces the appointment of Danielle Fischer as Exhibition Director, marking a new phase in the company’s growth and development.
Fischer, formerly Group Manager of dmg world media’s flagship event, Designex, will head up the Sydney office. Her first project will be the launch of a new exhibition targeting the hotel and hospitality industry.
This follows Diversifed’s recent announcement of its acquisition of the Restaurant shows from Single Market Events. The launch of this new hotel sector exhibition will further consolidate the company’s comprehensive portfolio of 10 food, catering and hospitality related events, spearheaded by Fine Food and Good Food & Wine Show.

Prior to her four years managing Designex for dmg world media, Fischer spent four years running the Hotel & Gaming Expo for AHA NSW. Her career started 17 years ago with the gift trade fairs, then owned by Thomson World Trade Exhibitions, before she moved into international conference organisation.
