It’s hard to beat the cost-saving efficiency of LYSAGHT W-DEK® for suspended concrete slab construction. The W-shaped profile can save time and money – without sacrificing strength.

Tested in the NATA-registered BlueScope Lysaght laboratory and by universities and independent research institutes, LYSAGHT W-DEK® has a 78 mm profile depth for displacement, which can save up to 40 cubic metres of concrete per 1,000 square metres of floor.

LYSAGHT W-DEK® can out-perform conventional decks and has the engineered strength to span more than four metres unpropped. It can be used purely as permanent formwork or as tensile reinforcement in a composite slab. With wide, flat ribs and a 700 mm sheet cover, it also provides a safe working platform.
