Altro launches unique new safety flooring range

Altro is set to change the traditional perceptions of slip resistant flooring with the launch of its latest innovative product range. Launched in Australia in February 2007, Altro Timbersafe is the first wood-effect safety flooring from Altro, the inventors of safety flooring.
Altro developed the range after extensive research with designers and key professionals from a wide range of market sectors. Combining an attractive wood design with slip resistance, Timbersafe is ideal for schools, hospitals, medical and vet surgeries, retail stores, hospitality venues, housing and other areas where a safe walking surface with a warm, non-institutional look is required.

The new collection is available in 6 appealing wood finishes – beech, chestnut, oak, pine, cherry, and walnut. All combine detailed wood graining and the authentic effect of jointed wooden floor boards to give a very realistic effect, with none of the ongoing maintenance and performance issues of real wood.
In addition to its attractive design, Altro Timbersafe offers designers and end-users all of the high performance features associated the Altro floorings. The new range offers excellent slip resistance and is hardwearing and resistance to scuffs and impact. Timbersafe incorporates Altro Maxis Technology and AltroSan for ease of cleaning and hygienic performance.
