| THERMASHIELD BY TREND WINDOWS AND DOORS |
Trend Windows and Doors has expanded the Thermashield range, with
the new Trend double-glazed sliding window that replaces the existing
adaptor-based unit. The new Thermashield range has the IGU fully glazed
into the sash with an 18 mm double-glazed unit.
The new sash can be easily retrofitted to existing single-glazed frames,
enabling existing houses to be thermally upgraded for improved u-values and
SHGC results. In addition, the Quantum window and door range can also be
upgraded with Thermashield double-glazing.
The volume of single-glazed products in use and increasing awareness of
managing household energy usage means existing homes will require smart
solutions to energy-efficiency requirements. The Trend Thermashield range,
with its wide variety of options, has these considerations covered.
All Trend products are fully rated to NATA standards and AS 2047, as well
as the Window Energy Rating System (WERS). |
