Trend Windows & Doors is licensed to use the WERS rating scheme and we have carried out extensive energy testing on the Quantum™ XP window with a large number of different glass types in an effort to develop a range of products which is best suited to the various regions of Australia.
The recommended energy solutions shown on the following pages give a range of economic solutions for each climate zone. Our sales staff can assist you to work out which windows will best meet. needs.
WERS provides two separate star ratings for each window type, one for Heating climates and one for Cooling climates. The star ratings, on a scale of 0 to 5 stars (0 is the least energy efficient, 5 is the most energy efficient), indicate how well the window will perform in each climate zone. The WERS rating certificate for each window type (shown here for a high performance Quantum™ XP Double Glazed window) also gives an estimate of the reduction in annual energy usage for a typical house, compared with the energy used with standard aluminium sliding windows.

Quantum™ XP Energy Efficient Windows
Quantum™ XP windows and doors provide greater energy efficiency than other typical aluminium Windows. The patented "Van Door" sealing system means lower air infiltration, which reduces heat loss in winter and improves the effectiveness of air conditioning in summer.
