Fastening
Fixing shall be combined nails and adhesive utilising conventional fine panel pins ie 25 mm x 1.4 mm in conjunction with an approved wall board adhesive. (Adhesive - manufacturer's instructions should be observed for optimum results).
Internal lining applications (vertical or horizontal): Securely fix at centres not exceeding 600 mm spacing and 800 mm stud spacing for diagonal installations.
Ceiling applications: Ceiling lining applications When installed under sheet metal roofing, it is essential to use a breather type sarking between the timber boards and the roof sheeting. Fixings required across top of exposed rafters - 600 mm; beneath rafters or joists on cathedral or flat ceilings - 450 mm. |
