To get the best from TigerTurf, experienced trained fitters, working to exacting standards must execute surface installation. That's why all over the world we provide contracting services directly or through our recommended network of approved installers. In all instances TigerTurf is on hand to offer expert advice on-site during and after installation to ensure customers get the very best from the surface.
TigerTurf works closely with suppliers of specialist adhesives to ensure that all seams are jointed correctly. This includes playing lines that are cut in and augmenting lines which are tufted in during manufacture. The choice of infill materials is important to ensure TigerTurf systems perform to the standards laid out in test procedures. TigerTurf specifications clearly state material grades, working hand in hand with providers of quality infills.
Visual inspections of the completed area can be backed up by independent tests on seam strength, tuft withdrawal and sports requirements such as ball roll and bounce. TigerTurf's own Research and Development unit carries out field tests to ensure surfaces are installed according to TigerTurf's own exacting standards.
TigerTurf dramatically reduces the maintenance required to playing and landscape surfaces when compared with natural turf, but to get the best out of a TigerTurf surface certain carefully followed maintenance procedures will not only improve the surface, but will be critical to how long it lasts.
TigerTurf Maintenance training is offered on correct brushing methods and how to control high use areas. Weekly maintenance includes drag brushing and the removal of debris from the area. In public areas, specialist maintenance using a TigerTurf approved maintenance company is normally required at least once a year to check seams, reduce compaction and clean contamination away. This ensures a surface will last beyond its warranty period, performing throughout to a high standard. It will also avoid unnecessary and expensive 'rejuvenation'. A well-maintained TigerTurf synthetic grass surface can out perform and outlast a neglected area by up to 50%. |
