| STYLE LOCK BAMBOO FLOORING ADDS AN EXOTIC TOUCH |
An apartment in the cutting-edge Fender Katsalidis–designed Esplanade
Apartments in St Kilda has been given an exotic makeover. Owners Pauline
Hammer and Andre Garnaut chose to install Style’s innovative strand-woven
bamboo floating floor.
The couple selected the Style Lock bamboo flooring for its rich, warm
colours, hard-wearing characteristics and strong environmental credentials. These aspects were a great fit for their design and sustainable living
expectations. Pauline says, “The apartment has certainly been transformed,
with the new floor providing a vibrant, warm, natural look with little
maintenance required to keep it looking fantastic.”
Working to a tight schedule
to replace the old floor coverings
with the new Style Lock bamboo
flooring, Garnaut Constructions
were able to complete the task
with a minimum of fuss. The
unique, patented Uniclic locking
system enabled the floating
floor to be installed with ease,
allowing the team to complete
the refurbishment on time.
All that remained was for
Pauline to enjoy adding the
finishing touches to their stylish,
easy and sustainable floor. |
