Stramit® Purlins and Girts are primarily used to support roof or wall sheeting in industrial, rural and commercial buildings. While commonly attached to fabricated steel frames, the C and Z sections are, on occasion, also used in small and medium sized buildings for the structural frame.
Continuously lapped Z purlins generally provide the greatest economy for medium and large buildings. C purlins are often favoured for their stability in single spans, and are also adaptable to doubly symmetric 'I' and 'box' configurations. |
