Traditionally, shrinkage and tempurature reinforcement sizes have been calculated based on the area of concrete above the decking ribs. Figures based on the entire slab depth have been included for information only.
This table gives the minimum mesh size required. It may be necessary to increase the size of lighter meshes to prevent damage during construction.
*Main bars should be transverse to the decking ribs. |
