The Australian Building Code requires Rw ratings of 30 and 45 in non- habitable and habitable rooms respectively.
Pipes correctly lagged with Soundlag 4525C within the right structure achieve these results. The diagrams outlined above are systems provided by PKA Acoustic Consultants, based on the actual test results (ATF 750B Report) carried out at the National Acoustic Laboratory, Sydney, Australia.
The final results can be influenced adversely by air-conditioning ducts, lack of air gap, openings in ceilings such as vents, downlights, manholes and exhaust fans.

The graphed results above are of Sound Insertion Loss (A-weighted) Sound Power Levels,National Acoustic Laboratory (NAL) test, Report Reference ATF 750B, ATF 750F, ATF 749K.
