HIRO LIFT equips all its spatial inclined lifts with a re-chargeable battery. They are service free dry batteries, thus making it possible to operate the system in living areas. Both battery and motor are situated on the lift, this makes the unit independent of the mains supply. The battery is automatically charged in the stop/access positions. A normal socket is suffice for the power supply for the charger. There is no need for a separate power circuit for the unit. The supplied remote control is for the calling and sending of the unit, which can either be mounted or hand held.
All inclined wheelchair and staircase lifts can be operated indoors and externally. The corrosion protection is build dependent, by sandblasting, spray or full galvanizing also with using of tensile steel. The electrics are also protected against damp.
- Can be manufactured for external use(exposed to weather conditions) as well as normal internal covered stairs.
- Can handle very steep stair angles.
- Have a model that can be fitted to the inside edge of the stairway or the outside edge.
- Can manoeuvre through varying angles, curves and landings.
- Low voltage 24V DC motor makes it toitally save electrically as well as having a "soft" start
