Overview
MakMax Australia was originally formed in 1984 under the name Shade Structures Pacific. We were originally raised to prominence through our innovative shade structures designed for World Expo '88 in Brisbane. The company joined the Taiyo Kogyo Group, world largest membrane company, after it joined with USA company Birair Inc in 2001 and became Shade Structures Birdair. Due to a corporate restructure in 2003, Shade Structures Birdair changed its name to Taiyo Membrane Corporation and more recently became known as MakMax Australia. MakMax Australia services its traditional domestic markets all over Australia, as well as New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Asia and more recently South Africa.
