KINGSPAN INSULATED PANELS
APN June/July 2008
Kingspan panels are available in the full Colorbond range of colours and finishes. They were used to great effect on the new Schiavello showroom.

Though common in coolroom and cold store facilities, insulated panels – sometimes referred to as composite or sandwich panels – have rarely been used for external roof and wall applications. Kingspan Insulated Panels produces Australian-made, purpose-designed insulated panels for external roofs and wall facades. Suitable for commercial, retail and industrial applications, Kingspan panels are single-component, factory–pre-engineered systems that comprise a high performance outer profile combined with a rigid insulation core and a steel internal liner.

Produced in the full Colorbond range of colours and finishes, the Kingspan portfolio of insulated panels includes both through-fix and secret-fix options for roof and wall applications.

The panels’ insulation continuity guarantees thermal performance, which is key to achieving Part J compliance.

Kingspan panels are manufactured, cut to order and delivered to site ready for installation, which allows for faster on-site assembly. This, in turn, can cut site time by up to 50% compared with multi-part site-assembled systems, reducing on-site costs and allowing for earlier occupation of the building.

Kingspan panels offer impressive spanning capabilities, which can reduce the purlin requirements currently required for typical construction.
