Scyon Secura wet-area flooring is made from a moisture-resistant cement composite.
A beautiful bathroom relies as much on using the appropriate construction materials as it does on design. A simple way to ensure the most moisture-prone room of the house retains its showroom condition is with durable Scyon Secura wet-area flooring substrate.
Secura wet-area flooring is specifically designed for ceramic tile finishes over timber or lightweight steel floor joists. Made from an advanced lightweight cement composite and featuring a moisture-resistant sealer, Secura wet-area flooring eliminates the need for full-floor waterproofing other than enclosed shower areas.
The 19 mm tongue-and-groove joining is compatible with other standard 19 mm flooring products and eliminates the need for timber trimmers. Available in 1,800 mm × 900 mm × 19 mm sheets, Secura wet-area flooring is about 20% lighter per square metre than 15 mm HardiPanel compressed sheets, making it much easier to install. And, like all Scyon products, it is easy to cut and can be gun nailed or nailed by hand.
