Company Profile
Gryffin Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1986, and is owned and managed by Steve King and John Mythen. Steve and John have worked together in the security fencing field since 1971 and began manufacturing in 1985.
Eventually the partner’s interest in design led them to produce their first product TigerTape™; a stainless steel barbed tape, which entered the marketplace in 1986. TigerTape™ barbed tape was aimed firmly towards the high security prison and correctional institution market and today is employed in over 90% of the prisons in Australia. With the success of TigerTape™ in the high security sector, Gryffin has now gone on to produce a short barb version which has had equal success in the commercial market.
Since 1986 Gryffin have steadily added products to their range introducing Palisade and Securifor® 358 Mesh and just recently, TangoRail® products. A comprehensive range of high security physical barriers for almost any application and security fencing for commercial and now, domestic applications. |
