Features of the Trilock series
3 in 1 security: deadbolt, privacy and passage functions all locked into one set
Deadbolt security
Trilock houses a double cylinder deadbolt, with a sturdy 20mm throw, to keep possessions and valuables safe whilst the home is unoccupied.
Trilock’s deadbolt security means the door can be easily deadbolted from both sides.
Lockset with safety
Depressing the button on the inside of the door engages the Trilock privacy mode. This locks the door totally from the outside, however it is safe to exit without a key in an emergency by simply turning the knob or lever.
Passage set convenience
When Trilock is unlocked and unsnibbed, it operates as a standard passage set, allowing free access in or out of the home.
Single handed operation
The key operates all functions of the lock, allowing the external door to be opened without rotating the knob or lever. This conveniently leaves a spare hand free for carrying parcels and the like.
Euro cylinder
The solid brass, 5 pin Euro profile cylinder is securely housed within the Trilock body
Durable decorative finishes
The Trilock series is available in a choice of four durable, tarnish resistant finishes that carry a limited 5 year guarantee against tarnishing under normal use.
This ensures that the best in security can also live in harmony with the home’s decor. Gainsborough’s revolutionary “Durabrass®” achieves the charm and distinction of brass without the problems of tarnishing. The Trilock series is also covered by a 10 year limited mechanical guarantee.
Easy installation
Each Trilock pack includes easy to follow, do-it-yourself instructions which allow any home handyperson to install Trilock.
When replacing worn keylocks, Trilock fits readily into the existing 54mm (2 1/8'') cross bore hole. All the necessary tools required for installation may be found listed on the retail packaging.
Forced entry resistance
Trilock’s reinforced jamb striker plate has successfully exceeded the maximum Australian Standard “Security Strength Impact Test-S3”, making Trilock jemmy resistant to intruders.
Keying for convenience
Trilock can be keyed alike to other Gainsborough residential lock cylinders for one-key convenience.
Made in Australia
Trilock, recipient of an Australian Design Mark for good design, has been developed and manufactured in Australia by Gainsborough and is protected by international patents.
Trilock dummy sets for double doors
Non-operational Trilock dummy sets are available in both knob and lever versions to provide a matching set on double doors.
Easily handed
Trilock with lever features an innovative design characteristic which allows levers to be easily rotated for use on left or right handed doors.
Coordinate interior doors
- Outline Leverset
The Outline leverset offers lever on round rosette for interior doors, and is designed to complement the Trilock with lever.
- Nouvelle Leverset
The Nouvelle leverset features classic lever styling with a slim escutcheon plate and is perfect to coordinate the Trilock with lever.
- Diplomat Series
The Diplomat series features a stylish knob on round rosette to match the Trilock, allowing coordination of all doors throughout the home.
