handle options.
The series features the 750 mm length Horizon pull handle, together with the new contemporary 750 mm length Square and Oblong pull handle designs. These attractive pull handles can also be combined with locking or latching door hardware to suit the required function. 600 mm pull handles Gainsborough now offers an even broader range of pull handles, with the introduction of the new 9200 series 600 mm stainless steel pull handles. This includes a universal screw pack for single fix – visible, single fix – concealed, or back-to-back fixing. Source: Architects Handbook 2008/09 The new 9400 stainless steel series offers a stylish range of fashionable lever designs on 55 mm diameter round rosettes. Featuring 316-grade stainless steel, these leversets offer higher corrosion resistance and are an ideal choice for coastal conditions (tested to 960 hours in salt-spray tests). Suitable for left- or right-handed doors, these new passage leversets can be combined with a Gainsborough mortice lock for exterior doors, or a 480 series dual-sprung tubular latch for interior doors. Matching dummy levers coordinate wardrobe or closet doors. A privacy adaptor is also available. Designed and manufactured in Australia, the new Gainsborough 2000 Series (23 mm backset for narrow stile doors) and 3000 Series (60 mm backset) feature the key cylinder below the lever, for greater convenience and ease of operation. Locating the cylinder under the lever (rather than above) provides a more convenient position in which to lock or unlock using the key. Gainsborough has also created a more proportionate distance between the furniture and the cylinder, adding an element of style to the lock. This distance is the same for both the 2000 series and 3000 series, allowing uniformity throughout the building. Source: Architects Handbook 2007/08
