The back of each ColoRex tile features UniGrid, a unique printed conductive mesh that ensures reliability of static control properties after installation.

Through specific installation techniques the ColoRex system guarantees outstanding dissipative/conductive properties over many years.

Through specific installation techniques the ColoRex system guarantees outstanding dissipative/conductive properties over many years. Besides electrical conductivity, ColoRex tiles ensure, through their composition and surface quality, minimal electrostatic charging on moving personnel and equipment.

The outstanding combination of other important features:
  • Excellent mechanical resistance (e.g. against heavy loads rolling on small, hard wheels)
  • Good chemical resistance to most chemical agents and pigments. More importantly, most stains and surface alterations can be removed by simple abrasive methods
  • Problem-free perforation and trimming (no chipping, no particulating), therefore suitable for raised access panels
  • Very low outgassing, ideal for clean room applications
  • Low risk of carbon contamination
  • Practically no shrinkage, no aging
  • Smooth, pore-free surface
  • Seam welding is a standard option
  • Non-directional pattern, wide range of colors
