FIRE TEST
FOILBOARD INSULATION PANEL was submitted to an independent testing laboratory for an AS1530.3.1989 fire test report and obtained a 4 “ZERO” rating. This means FOILBOARD INSULATION PANEL can be used in any classification of building under the Building Code of Australia in most situations.
ACOUSTIC TESTS
Brick Veneer
Recent laboratory testing (CSIRO) resulted in Foilboard achieving a very high acoustic result when used in a brick veneer timber framed wall.
The result is similar to that achieved by rockwool batts, traditionally used for sound insulation.
Pre-cast Concrete
Foilboard was also submitted to an acoustic's, noise & vibration consultant, to calculate the sound transmission loss when used with pre-cast concrete walls & plasterboard. The result was the following acoustic opinion.
