Fire Rated Glass Blocks
In 1997 C.S.I.R.O. Sydney fire test, N.E.G. glass blocks achieved a 90 minute (1.5 hour) fire rating test result in accordance with Code AS 1530 Part 4 requirements. Five fire rated patterns are available, namely, Clear, Fantasy, Mist, Bark and Lateral Rib. Size is 190 x 190 x 95mm.
In February 2000 CSIRO also approved the 90 minute fire rating for the N.E.G. 145 x 145 x 95mm fire rated glass blocks - also available in five patterns.
