• Sliding door leaf(s) that will break-out, i.e. will swing outwards under force of less than 110 newtons and will do so at any point along its stroke.
• Fixed side light(s) that will break-out under either a direct force of less than 110 newtons on the side-light(s) or when the door leaf(s) break-out.
• Automatic stacking of door leaf(s) and sidelight(s) when broken out to facilitate clear passage through the doorway.
• Automatic deactivation of normal sliding door functions when door leaf(s) and sidelight(s) broken-out.
• Automatic re-act of all normal sliding door functions when door leaf(s) and sidelight(s) are returned to normal position.

THE EQUIPMENT WILL INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING

Safety (Logic Control)

• Automatic reversing if obstructed during the closing sequence (fully adjustable sensitivity).
  • Auto retry (three times) at safety "creep" speed (1 /3 speed) to detected obstruction.
  • Auto revert to normal mode after successful retry.
• Fully adjustable speed control with independent settings for - Opening, Closing, Final Opening, Final Closing.
• Auto stop if obstructed during opening sequence (fully adjustable sensitivity).

Failsafe
As per BCA regulations, doors drive fully open automatically on power failure/fire alarm. Failsafe consists of a 12v DC/240v AC invertor also incorporating battery alarm/monitor (as per AS 4085-1992) to alert user if power is low.

Doors automatically return to original function mode when power is returned or fire signal is deactivated.

Drive System

• Constant rated 7kg torque capacitor start and run squirrel cage motor.
• NO THERMAL PROTECTION PERMITTED AS PER AS 4085-1992.
• Chain drive with average tensile strength of 1950kg and 12.7mm pitch.
• Auto re-close circuitry to ensure doors close if partially opened (i.e. high wind condition).
• Self lubricating planetary gear box with spiral bevel drive.

Track
The track is to be polished stainless steel mounted in rubber carrying adjustable hanger bars supported by fully sealed raced fibreglass reinforced track wheels (min. 50mm diameter) for smoother wear and increased life.
