| CTA’S SURESTEEL TACTILE STUDS |
Stylish, tough and built for consistent performance, CTA’s SureSteel tactile studs are ideal for external ramps, walkways and pedestrian crossings.
Manufactured from one solid piece of austenitic 316-grade stainless steel, SureSteel tactile studs will never detach. Four styles are available with or without a spigot, including a concentric ring design or a grit in-filled top surface, with either smooth or stepped side faces. They are designed to exceed all aspects of the Australian standards, including minimum luminance contrast and safety requirements. SureSteel tactile indicators achieve an R13 anti-slip rating, to ensure the safety of tactile installations.
A complete range of installation templates ensures installations conform to required standards. CTA provides technical support via an extensive supply and installation network.
SureSteel tactile studs have been specified at Customs House and Shed 9 in Melbourne’s Docklands precinct, at gates nine and ten at Melbourne Airport, and at Queensland’s King George Square.
