CSR’s lightweight StrataWall achieves excellent acoustic performance and fire ratings at Reflections Two in Coolangatta.
Reflections Two, a striking 20-storey high-rise building containing more than 100 apartments with retail space and restaurants, is nearing completion in Coolangatta. CSR’s new StrataWall was installed for all inter-tenancy and corridor-to-tenancy walls, to achieve an Rw55 acoustic rating and required fire ratings.
Approximately 150 m² of StrataWall was installed on each of the building’s floors. An acoustic site test was conducted prior to fitout to validate the system’s performance. On completion, an acoustic site test was conducted achieving a revised acoustic rating of Rw59. StrataWall is an easy-to-install, lightweight system that provides excellent acoustic and fire integrity thanks to its modular design.
