Bristile Roofing's Proud Heritage
The company as it is now structured has been operating in Australia for three quarters of a century. The Western Australian division of the company began producing terracotta tiles in 1929 when Sir Lance Brisbane incorporated his company H.L.Brisbane and Company Limited. The Queensland plant situated at Wacol began operations in 1974 under the famous Besser name and has been producing continuously through various ownership changes to the present day. The Victorian business was established as Nubrik enterprise in 1965 when the terracotta tile plant was commissioned. The concrete tile plant followed in 1987 and has also been producing since that time.

Bristile Roofing draws on the experience and expertise derived from three quarters of a century supplying quality-roofing materials to the Australian building industry. From our plants situated in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia we are able to service our national markets through a network of sales centres and distributors in all states. Our experienced staff at these various locations coordinate the delivery, installation and finishing off of our quality roof tiles.

Bristile Roofing employs over 170 people across Australia and has a strong network of sub-contractors and suppliers. Our parent company, Brickworks Limited, has been listed on the Australian Stock Exchange for over forty years.
Leading Brands
As well as being a market leader in terracotta and concrete roof tiles, our group also manufactures clay bricks and pavers under the well-known names of Austral Bricks, and ceramic floor tiles and bathroom fittings produced by Eureka Tiles Australia. More recently Auswest Timbers manufacturers of fine timber floors & decking and GB Masonry suppliers of high quality face concrete masonry products have joined the group.
