PartiWALL™ is an innovative system from Boral providing solutions for party walls in attached dwellings.
The PartiWALL™ system is essentially a timber or steel frame twin wall system, that includes 25mm fireresistant Shaft Liner Plasterboard Panels within the wall cavity. This wall system has been designed to provide maximum flexibility for the designer and builder, both in construction and performance.
PartiWALL™ is a smart design that permits the inclusion of service penetrations, such as switches, power points, light fittings and pipes within the partition. As the 25mm Shaft Liner membrane is not penetrated, the fire rating is not compromised.
The inclusion of Boral's 13mm SoundStop plasterboard adds additional options where BCA requires > Rw+Ctr=50dB acoustic ratings.

PartiWALL™ was developed to suit the normal pattern of construction and following trades. The fire-resistant Shaft Liner Panels are placed in position between lightweight steel H section studs in an assembly-like fashion - no plasterboard jointing or finishing is required. This job sequence is carried out during the normal wall framing stage. The internal faces of the wall frame are then lined and finished later with the preferred wall linings using conventional installation methods.
