EUREKAWALL™

EurekaWall™ is a cost-effective plasterboard-based system for creating service shafts and party walls in medium- and high-rise multi-residential buildings. The foundation of the system is the EurekaWall™ membrane which comprises two layers of 25 mm-thick plasterboard ShaftLiner™ nestled between 51 mm-deep light-gauge steel “I” studs.

Versatile and easy to install, EurekaWall™ has been used on the landmark 88-storey Eureka Tower project in Melbourne and on other major projects including the Raffl es Apartments in Perth and Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane. EurekaWall™ has a fire resistance level of -/120/90. The system has also been the subject of a series of acoustic tests and achieved acoustic ratings of up to R_w + C_tr = 50 dB.
