Warranty
BlueScope offers a warranty of up to 12 years from the date of installation against perforation by weathering in the natural elements. For COLORBOND® steel, BlueScope also warrants that the exterior paint system will not flake or peel for 12 years.
It applies to the following products when used in rainwater goods applications:
ZINCALUME® AZ150 steel, COLORBOND® XRW steel, COLORBOND® Ultra steel, COLORBOND® Stainless steel.
Warranty requests are evaluated on a case by case basis. BlueScope reserves the right to determine the warranty period given.
Warnings
Incompatible with lead flashing and copper piping: Many rainwater products made from COLORBOND® steel are supplied with a stripable polyethylene film called CORSTRIP® which protects the products during storage and handling. It must be removed immediately upon installation.
