The steel box sections shall be ..... LYSAGHT FIRMLOK BEAM®.
The sections shall be made from material conforming to AS1397 with base metal thickness of 0.55, 0.75 and 1.00mm - Grade G550 AZ150.
The steel sections shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Cataloguing Details
The catalogue numbers for FIRMLOK Beams are preceded by the letter F, followed by five digits. The first three digits indicate the section depth in millimetres. The final two digits are twice the material thickness in millimetres multiplied by 10 (ie. 2t x 10).
For example:
F15015 - FIRMLOK Beam, 150mm deep, manufactured from 0.75mm BMT material.
