Spanning Tables
The wall spacings indicated are the maximum recommended for buildings up to 10 m high in Region B Terrain Category 3 conditions (Vs = 38 m/s and Vu = 60 m/s) using Cpe = 0.65, Cpi = 0.2 and Kl = 2.0.
These spacings may be reduced by the serviceability and strength wind conditions for the particular project under consideration.

Capacity & Load Tables
The wind pressure capacities are based on tests conducted at BlueScope's NATA registered testing laboratory.
Testing was conducted in accordance with AS 1562.1 - 1992, Design and Installation of Sheet Roof and Wall Cladding, and AS 4040.2 - 1992, Resistance to Wind Pressure for Non-cyclone Regions.
The table for wind pressure capacities provides pressure versus span data for serviceability and strength limit state design.
Serviceability Limit State is based on a deflection limit of: (span/120) + (P/30), where P is the maximum fastener pitch.
The pressure capacities for Strength Limit State have been determined by testing the cladding to failure (ultimate capacity). These pressures are applicable when the cladding is fixed to a minimum of 1.0 mm material.
To obtain the design capacity of sheeting, a capacity reduction factor should be applied (ø = 0.9).

NOTE: This information on MULTICLAD® is only suitable for use in non-cyclonic areas.
A non-cyclonic area is defined as one in which a tropical cyclone is unlikely to occur, in accordance with AS 1170.2 - 1989, SAA Loading Code, Part 2 Wind Loads.
