Suggested Specification
The purlins & girts shall be LYSAGHT Z & C SECTIONS.
The sections shall be made from material conforming to AS1397 in the following grades:
- 1.0 BMT - Grade AS1397/G550 Z350
- 1.2 BMT - Grade AS1397/G500 Z350
- 1.5, 1.9, 2.4 and 3.0 BMT - Grade AS1397/G450 Z350
The steel sections shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Note: Cee & Zed sections are supplied punched. For non-standard punching requirements punching details must be supplied. Please contact your local BlueScope Building Products office for more information.
Catalogue Details
A typical catalogue number is Z/C15019, where the Z/C indicates either Zed or Cee section, the 150 indicates depth of section and 19 indicates BMT.
