		EXTERIOR INSULATION AND FINISH SYSTEMS Foamular-Metric extruded polystyrene insulation, when used in a masonry, wood or steel stud exterior insulation and finish system, can substantially upgrade the thermal performance of the exterior wall for increased energy savings and occupant comfort. Foamular-Metric also provides an even surface for the application of the exterior finish. An exterior insulation and finish system provides both beauty and durability to a structure's exterior wall. Foamular-Metric is suitable for use with mechanically attached systems in both new and retrofit applications.
		ROOFING SYSTEMS Foamular-Metric offers high compressive strength and energy efficiency in protected and flat deck single-ply roofing systems both for new roofs an re-roofing applications. Lightweight rigid foam panels make the product easy to hoist, handle and install and add little to the overall roof weight. Provides solid backup for roofing membrane. Foamular-Metric is also available for use in tapered roofing systems that help prevent problems caused by excessive pending and ice buildup.
		CAVITY WALL Installed between wall ties, Foamular-Metric saves energy by retarding heat transmission. since the product is highly resistant to moisture, it will not lose its thermal resistance value over the years. In addition, Foamular Metric's built-in rigidity means it never settles like poured or blown types of insulation.
		WALL FURRING When used with masonry or concrete back-up walls, Foamuiar-Metric installs against the wail by means of any wood or metal wall furring system to provide excellent thermal resistance. Strips also serve as positive attachment for gypsum panels.
		FOUNDATION, PERIMETER, CRAWL SPACE Readily applied to the exterior of concrete foundations or concrete block, Foamular-Metric may be adhesively attached or held in place with either mechanical fasteners or backfill. In areas between ground level and the bottom of exterior wall, the exposed surface of Foamular-Metric is covered with reinforced stucco, painted weatherproof board or other approved protection. In crawl spaces, Foamular Metric is covered with gypsum panels or otherwise protected where required by building codes.
		UNDER SLABS For applications where the insulation is used beneath the slab, Foamular-Metric can often be the highly ecnomical choice. It handles easily to save labour costs and offers a compressive strength of 150 kPa for Foamular-Metric 150 and 250 kPa for Foamular Metric 250 sufficient for many under slab requirements. Where greater compressive strength is needed, higher density Foamular-Metric insulation products are available.
		PRECAST CONCRETE Foamular-Metric is ideal for use in precast applications where the insulation is placed directly behind a facing panel such as marble, aluminum, granite, tile, etc. Along with its many other benefits, Foamular-Metric is easily cut to any size or shape.
		SHEATHING in insulating sheathing applications, Foamular-Metric provides an excellent combination of economy and performance in creating an energy efficient thermal envelope outside the studs to insulate all framing members. As an insulation, Foamular Metric is substantially more effective than wood fibre plywood or gypsum panels. The product suits a variety of exterior finishes including masonry veneer. wood, aluminium steel and vinyl sidings; wood and mineral shingles,- and reinforced PRODUCT DATA Material: Extruded polystyrene closed-cell foam panel with continuous skins on face and back surfaces. Packaging: Shipping in units with two stretch-wrap bands per bundle. Foamular-Metric Insulation should be protected from excessive UV exposure to prevent discoloration.
