Infiltration tank system
|
The infiltration tank system is the ideal way to manage stormwater run off in permeable or semi permeable soil conditions. The system is designed to capture surface water through infiltration, and then clean and filter the water before it is allowed to recharge the water table providing moisture for surrounding vegetation. No impermeable liners are used in the installation so water is not retained. When the stormwater run off passes through the Atlantis Ecological Tank or Channel System the surface infiltrate is filtered and cleaned by specially designed Atlantis Eco Pavers and EcoSoils. The Ecopavers have a very high infiltration capacity and their use in conjunction with EcoSoils have shown removal of almost all typical stormwater contaminants.
The performance of the Atlantis Infiltration Tank System supersedes outdated aggregate trenches. The Atlantis system provides a void space of over 90% compared to less than 20% in typical aggregate trenches. Consequently the Atlantis system offers a smaller footprint to achieve the same storage capacity as an aggregate trench. This saves time and money in installation and civil works costs. The lightweight design of the Atlantis Ecological Tanks also makes installation safer and cheaper. No sediment build up occurs in the Atlantis system unlike the clogging that is characteristic of aggregate based approaches.
The Atlantis Infiltration Tank System emulates the natural water cycle and delivers clean water to aquifers and waterways protecting terrestrial and aquatic eco systems for current and future generations.

Manufactured using recycled materials, the Matrix™ Tank Module is a lightweight structural component developed through years of research & development.
It is ideal for the construction infiltration tanks, re-use tanks, sub surface channels and light weight void spaces for rooftop gardens and planter boxes
