Aqva Design manufactures 16 freestanding baths and spas in varying shapes and sizes. The elegant inner and outer shroud designs cater for a range of bathing configurations: oval, corner and rectangle, with or without their distinctive anodised aluminium feet. They can be custom coloured to your specifications and can be fitted with an overflow system. A number of models have an internal chaise longue, conserving space and water while maximising comfort.
The baths are deceptively light yet durable and can be positioned wherever desired - as a showpiece in the bathroom, or even outside on the balcony or terrace. On average they only weigh 45kg unfilled and are easy to manoeuvre. This means no more of the cleaning difficulties often associated with a freestanding bath! Best of all, these freestanding baths save on the high costs of tiling and plumbing (around $4000) involved in wet area management, as they only require suitable draining access to empty.
In another design first, Aqva's unique spas have discreetly built-in pumps that are simple to install and easy to service. All baths can be upgraded to spas, which include a plug and waste and a sleeved connection kit. Spa fittings are available in white, chrome or gold and hot pumps are optional.
All Aqva Design products are designed and hand built in Australia, using the highest quality composite materials and alloys. All baths, basins and spas have a polyvinyl surface that retains colour fastness and surface lustre. To ensure strength and rigidity in baths and spas, the void between the inner and outer shells is filled with polyurethane foam. This construction method not only suppresses pump noise and prolongs water temperature; it also allows access to the pump if service is required.
All products manufactured by Aqva Design carry a warranty against faulty workmanship for a period of ten years, provided that the installation, use and maintenance are in accordance with the instruction supplied. |
