ALUCORE^® Tracking down nature
Product innovations are often nothing but an attempt to copy natural structures and forms. There is hardly any human achievement which was not inspired by nature. ALUCORE^® is an aluminium sandwich-type panel with high rigidity and extremely low weight. Due to our market and customer oriented product development we have been able to produce this high performance honeycomb core composite panel in a continuous production process, thus ensuring high production capacities at an attractive price performance ratio. Contrary to conventional honeycomb composite panels with brittle-hard adhesives, ALUCORE^® uses a viscoplastic adhesive. The result is a better peel strength as well as additional fabrication options. The integration of ALUCORE^® in the material cycle is easy: it can fully be recycled without prior separation or sorting.

The flatness and the proven ALUCOBOND^® lacquer coat finish are superb characteristics of ALUCORE^® composite panels. The ALUCORE^® aluminium skins are stove-lacquered with highquality lacquers following E.C.C.A. (European Coil-Coating Association) standards. A wide range of standard and special colours as well as metallic finishes are available.

With its PVDF stove-lacquered finish, ALUCORE^® is resistant to weathering, extreme sunlight, industrial atmospheres, moisture and soiling.

Signage
ALUCORE^® - a positive sign: Standard ALUCORE^® panels for advertising, industrial and three dimensional purposes are delivered with a double coating of polyester lacquer (platinum white) on both sides. The flat surfaces provide an outstanding background for further creativity (e.g. lacquering over, glueing, laminating and screen printing). Additional lacquer qualities (standard and special colours) widen the design options for weather-resistant advertising panels and road signs.
