Designated vinyl areas shall be Altro............., colour ............, 2 metre width, ............ mm gauge sheet safety flooring, incorporating the combination of plasticised PVC., silicon carbide grains, quartz aggregate with aluminium oxide grains and bacteriostat throughout. Altro sheet vinyl retains its slip resistance for the life of the product.

Installation shall be in accordance with manufacturers specifications and to AS. 1884-1985.

All seams, mitred corners etc., shall be hot welded, using matching coloured PVC. weld rod. Adhesive in wet areas shall be Altrofix 30 (2 part polyurethane) or an approved 2-part epoxy adhesive. In areas not subject to moisture, an approved acrylic adhesive may be used. To any vertical face, such as upstands to walls and coves, an approved contact adhesive shall be used.
